As of January 1, 2011, approximately 850,000,000 to 950,000,000 $2 bills, up to Series 2003A, were in circulation. At least anywhere between 378,000,000 and 478,000,000 of them were still Series 1976.

5dollar 2011

As of January 1, 2011, exactly 1,894,400,000 out of 2.3 billion Series 2006 $5 bills were in their new design. Thus, there would be at least anywhere between 355,600,000 and 455,600,000 $5 bills in their old design (Series 2003A and 2006) remaining in circulation, the oldest ones made in April or May 2007 at the latest.

The Series 2009 $5 bills were introduced in May 2011.

10dollar 2010

As of January 1, 2011, exactly 435,200,000 out of 1.7 billion $10 bills were Series 2009. Thus, there would be at least anywhere between 1,214,800,000 and 1,314,800,000 Series 2006 $10 bills remaining in circulation, the oldest ones made in November or December 2007 at the latest.

20dollar 2012

As of January 1, 2011, exactly 1,504,000,000 out of 6.5 billion $20 bills were Series 2009, giving a total of 4,332,800,000 bills when added together with the Series 2006 bills. Thus, there would be at least anywhere between 613,200,000 and 713,200,000 Series 2004A $20 bills remaining in circulation, the oldest ones made in December 2005 at the latest.

50dollar 2011

No new $50 bills were made for more than 1 1/2 years as of January 1, 2011, as there still were 1,286,400,000 $50 bills out of approximately 1.3 billion in circulation as Series 2004 or newer. Thus, there would be up to 63,600,000 Series 2001 $50 bills remaining in circulation, the oldest ones made in December 2003 at the latest.

The Series 2009 bills were introduced in February 2011.

100dollar 2012

As of January 1, 2011, a total of 4,037,000,000 Series 2006 $100 bills were released to circulation, giving a total of 6,590,600,000 bills out of 7 billion when added together with the Series 2003 and 2003A bills. Thus, there would be at least anywhere between 359,400,000 and 459,400,000 Series 2001 $100 bills remaining in circulation, the oldest ones made in February 2003 at the latest.
