On February 13, 2009, Toon Disney was re-launched as Disney XD. Unlike its predecessor, Disney XD's programs consist of both live action and animation, both targeted at preteens and young teenagers.
When the network first launched, an HD version was also available at the same time, in a 720p resolution. There is also a video-on-demand service, where you can watch select episodes of Disney XD shows through IPTV.
After 2019, Disney XD stopped airing movies on a regular basis, then altogether after 2020.
