Keep Calm and Flutter On is the 10th Season 3 episode of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic to premiere on the Hub Network, and the 11th in production order. Footage from this episode was revealed on January 12, 2013, and the episode premiered a week later, on January 19.
Synopsis[]
When the Ponyville Ponies are tasked with helping reform Discord, Fluttershy is the only one really willing to give him a chance. He starts to show signs of progress, but is he actually becoming a better guy or just playing on Fluttershy's sweet nature to maintain his freedom?
Production[]
On September 28, 2011, Meghan McCarthy wrote the premise for an episode titled "Fluttershy's Home for Reformed Draconequi". Patsy Cameron and Teddy Antonio wrote the full outline from October 4–14, and Dave Polsky wrote the first full script from November 4–18. Revisions were made to the script from November 23 through December 16. Voice recording began on January 5, 2012.
On February 27, 2012, Fluttershy's Home for Reformed Draconequi was re-titled "Keep Calm and Flutter On"; as of then, all Season 3 episodes now had their official broadcast titles.
The full animatic was submitted for review on April 24, 2012.
A rough cut of the animated episode was submitted for review on August 8, 2012.
Production was officially complete on October 1, 2012.
