Arthur			The show was currently airing on PBS Kids, under the PBS Kids GO! programming block. All episodes used the Cookie Jar Entertainment logo.
Full House			Currently airing on ABC Family. The complete series was also available on DVD since November 6, 2007.
Thomas & Friends			Older episodes from Seasons 1–7 were currently airing on PBS Kids Sprout, restored in high definition and using the same narration from Seasons 2–4 of Shining Time Station. Almost all episodes from Seasons 1–9 were also available on DVD since October 14, 2008.
My Little Pony			All 65 episodes were available on DVD since April 11, 2006, but went out of print due to Shout! Factory now owning distribution rights.
My Little Pony Tales			Never released on DVD in North America. There was once a DVD in the UK, but it is out of print.
Pokémon			All episodes from the first two seasons were currently available on DVD as of May 20, 2008, while Seasons 3–5 were out of print at the moment.

Sonic R Sonic Shuffle			These Sonic the Hedgehog games have remained out of print ever since their consoles were discontinued.
Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island Diddy Kong Racing Mario Party Mario Party 3 Donkey Kong 64			These games were never released for Virtual Console. Diddy Kong Racing contained characters that were owned by Microsoft since September 24, 2002, while the Mario Party games had control stick-spinning minigames, and Donkey Kong 64 contained the same game-breaking bug from 1999. Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island's reason was unknown.
Pokémon Red and Blue Pokémon (Yellow) Super Mario Bros. Deluxe Kirby Tilt 'n' Tumble Pokémon Gold and Silver Pokémon (Crystal)			These Game Boy and Game Boy Color games were awaiting releases on the Nintendo eShop.

February 5	Peter Pan was released on Blu-ray Disc and DVD as a Diamond Edition.
February 16	My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic's third season finished with 13 episodes.
February 19	Monsters, Inc. was re-released on Blu-ray Disc, DVD, and for the first time on digital streaming.
March 5	Wreck-It Ralph was released on Blu-ray Disc, DVD, and digital streaming.
March 12	The Hunchback of Notre Dame and Mulan were released on Blu-ray Disc.

October 16	Toy Story of Terror! premiered on ABC.
October 17	Windows 8.1 was released for general availability. Despite this, Windows 7 remained the most popular operating system in the market share all this year.
October 29	Monsters University was released on Blu-ray Disc, DVD and digital streaming.
	Sonic Lost World was released for the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.
November 7	As of this date, the first three seasons of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic were available for streaming on Amazon Video on Demand.
November 19	My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: A Pony for Every Season was released on DVD.
November 22	Super Mario 3D World was released for the Wii U, while Mario Party: Island Tour was released for the Nintendo 3DS.
November 23	My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic's fourth season premiered on the Hub Network. This was also the first season to be released on digital streaming at a rate of one new episode per week.
November 27	Frozen premiered in theaters.
