Game GuideEdit

You start at Mario's house. You'll get a letter from Princess Peach, saying that you're invited to her castle. The game will automatically send you there. All you can do for now, just go upstairs to where Princess Peach currently is now.

After a little talk, the ground starts to shake. The castle is being lifted off the ground, and is now on top of Bowser's castle. Bowser flies in, and you'll begin your "first" battle.

You start at 10 HP, 5 FP and 3 BP. Unfortunately, you can't use any of your FP at this time. All you can do now is jump at stomp on Bowser's head. After 3 HP is knocked out, Bowser will turn invincible and maximize his attack power to 3. In the last round, he'll perform a fire breath with an attack power of 10 HP. This is a story battle, you cannot win here. Don't worry, the game isn't over after you lose. You'll just be sent flying out the window afterwards.

Mario will land somewhere unknown, and be discovered by a family of Goombas. You'll start controlling him at Toad's house. First, talk to Goompa, then go back and talk to Goompapa that you must depart for adventure. Suddenly, Kammy Koopa will appear and "block" on the fence. Now go back to where Goompa is... hold on, his veranda is gone!

So, you'll fall down into Jr. Troopa's playground. Turn left, and find the Hammer in the bushes. This weapon can bash enemies by 1 HP. Practice using the Hammer for a bit to collect some coins, and to find the Dolly that Goombaria lost.

After practicing, turn right and you'll run into... Jr. Troopa.

Jr. TroopaEdit

This guy is pretty rough. But he only has 5 HP, so the battle should be easy. His stomps only take out 1 HP at a time... until he creates a new attack called Full Power, upgrading his attack power to 2. If you win, you'll get 20 Star Points.

Now turn right and fight some enemies for more Star Points. You'll also find a Star Piece here.

Back at Goomba Village, you'll get your second Star Piece and a kiss from Goombaria if you've retrieved her Dolly. Goompa will give you a Power Jump Badge before you and Goombario journey on.

As you keep on going down the Goomba Road, collect the Close Call Badge on the way. You'll eventually run into two funny-looking Goombas.

Blue and Red GoombaEdit

They each have 6 and 7 HP. All they can do is jump on Mario (1 HP damage). Each will give you 10 Star Points, for a total of 20.

Now turn right even more, and you'll be heading towards King Goomba's fortress. This time, you'll be fighting the Goomba Bros. again, but along with the powerful King Goomba.

King GoombaEdit

The Goomba king will have 10 HP, while the Goomba Bros. can be easily taken down by only 2 HP. Start by hammering the Goomnut Tree, dropping a Goomnut on the enemies (3 HP damage). Then the Goomba King will drop more Goomnuts on you (2 HP damage). After that, he can just attack (1 HP damage). The battle will end with you earning 30 Star Points.

If you've fought enough, you'll go up to Level 2. Start by upgrading your HP to 15. Hammer the tree for a third Star Piece, then take out the "!" Switch from the bushes. Smash it to send the fortress flying away. It'll also create a bridge for you to cross.

As you keep on going, find a Sleepy Sheep on the left then trampoline up to find a Hammer Throw Badge. Once you're in Toad Town, follow the path to where Princess Peach's castle used to be, then go past it and climb up to Shooting Star Summit.

After a talk with the Star Spirits, go back to the left. Twink will bump on your head, and give you the Lucky Star. You can raise the attack power by +1, and even get a defense of +1 from the enemy's attack.

He flies in after you learn about the Lucky Star. He only has 8 HP, so use your Power Jump to take off half of all his HP and make him fall off his broom. His attack power is 3, by the way. You'll receive 15-16 Star Points after the fight, depending on what level you're in.

Remember, after you go up one level, you'll get slightly less Star Points after you win.

After the battle, go back to Toad Town and knock on Merlon's door twice. He'll keep saying that he's out, then when he finally comes out, he'll invite you in. Head to the right after leaving, and talk to four mysterious Toads. Then go back to Merlon, and he'll take you to those Toads. With his magic, the Toads will reveal their true selves -- the Koopa Bros..

They will retreat, and Merlon will tell you to head on to Koopa Bros. Fortress.
