Netflix is currently the world's most popular video streaming service ever. At an annual subscription fee of $120 per customer, it now has 74 million subscribers, 44 million of them in the United States.
Netflix has many competitors for its media streaming On Demand, such as Vudu, YouTube, and iTunes.
Netflix gift cards, usually worth about $30, can be used to purchase a monthly subscriptions to the streaming service itself.
Similar to other On Demand services, movies and shows that are viewable in Free mode come and go to make room for newer releases. In addition, most films distributed by Universal, Sony Pictures and Warner Bros. streaming on Netflix USA are restricted to English and Spanish audio and subtitles.
Disney movies became available on Netflix from December 2012 to 2019, after the closure of Disney Movies Online, which lasted from 2009 to the end of 2012.
