The official Sega logo was last modified in 1982. It wasn't until long after then when Sonic the Hedgehog was introduced, replacing Alex Kidd as the company's mascot.

Like Nintendo, the Sega logo appeared at the beginning of lots of video games.

1991[]

Sega (1991) HQ

The first logo, seen on Sonic the Hedgehog, has a darker color than the logos shown below.

1992–1998[]

The second logo was featured on just about every video game designed for the Sega Genesis, Sega Game Gear and Sega Saturn.

This logo contains the words "Presented by" on top. Sometimes, "Presented by" is removed. It was first seen on Sonic Adventure.
